Herringbone

herringbone oak

Herringbone parquet is a classic European pattern that is made from blocks and assembled on a right angle that creates the typical V W shape reminiscent of fish bones. Repeated alongside in lines it creates a never ending pattern.

Very popular in Victorian times it’s re-emergence owes a lot to the various sympathetic coloured hard wax oils and stains which can give them a contemporary twist.
They come in various sizes and finishes, in engineered construction.
